The Customer Service & Maintenance Coordinator at The Basement Doctor will manage customer relationships through proactive maintenance scheduling and responsive issue resolution. This role serves as a critical link between customers, sales representatives, and service technicians to ensure customer satisfaction and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact existing customers to schedule annual maintenance appointments for their waterproofing systems, dehumidifiers, sump pumps, and other installed equipment
  • Answer incoming customer calls regarding service issues and concerns
  • Provide basic troubleshooting assistance for common issues with dehumidifiers, sump pumps, and related equipment
  • Research warranty information to determine coverage for service requests
  • Document customer interactions and service history in company systems
  • Coordinate with sales team and service technicians to resolve escalated customer concerns
  • Maintain scheduling system for preventative maintenance and service appointments
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills with professional phone manner
  • Basic technical aptitude and ability to learn troubleshooting procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Experience with CRM systems and scheduling software preferred
  • Knowledge of residential systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) helpful but not required
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in clear, customer-friendly terms
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, Monday through Friday

Pay Range: $19-$24 per hour depending on experience.
